Tube pump (peristaltic pump)

A type of positive displacement pump.

A tube pump uses the rotary motion of a roller to press on an elastic tube to push out the liquid inside the tube.

After the roller rotates, the pressed area of the tube returns to its original shape through the resilience of the tube.

When this happens, a vacuum is generated inside the tube, thereby suctioning in more liquid.

Tube pumps continuously repeat this operation to achieve the suction/discharge pump functions.
