Foam molding

A method in which a foaming agent is injected into a resin raw material, which is then foamed and molded.

The foaming agent causes the volume of the material to increase 2 to 50 times.

Foam-molded products are mainly used as sound absorbing materials, heat insulating materials, and shock absorbers. Car bumpers are one of the most well-known applications of foam molding.

Foam material can be applied through conventional injection molding or extrusion.
